I have never followed blogs, or at least, rarely do. I have never kept a journal either. My inspiration for starting a blog page is mostly selfish - so I can chronicle my simple life from day to day. Several years ago I met an elder statesman who I serve on the city council with, Tony. He asked if he could have an extra copy of a small notebook our company gave out for promotion purposes. I gave him one and he told me that since he was in his teens, he would jot down the events of his day in small journals. Tony is 80 something now and he can go back and look at any day of his life. He has had his own blog for a couple years so today I decided to enter the blogosphere too.

Our awesome streak of fabulous weather continued today with the blue skies and 74 degrees. Sharon did her Jazzercize thing and I hit the snooze button a bit too much and over slept. No workout for me today. Busy at work getting ready for next week's trip to Louisville, KY. I will be gone all week at the ICUEE trade show. I cooked shrimp scampi for lunch to satisfy Sharon's craving. It was good. Thursday golf league was fun and especially satisfying for me. On hole #1 I chipped in a 27 yard shot for an eagle! By far the best golf shot I have ever shot. I feel like I may be coming down with a sore throat.
